An Oxford Coroner’s Court has classed a forklift crushing an accidental death. Wayne Riggall had been sent to collect large paper reels from a warehouse at Wyndeham printing factory in Bicester, Oxfordshire on 23 July last year. China's logistics business continued to expand in August, but the growth rate was lower than the previous month, according to a recent survey. The logistics performance index for August came in at 50.9% - 0.2% points lower than in July, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. CWT-SML Logistics forklift driver Deepak Kataria retained his title in the Forklift Challenge held as part of the Materials Handling Middle East 2019 exhibition. A Texas retailer has solved its own logistical problem around managing automated roll-up doors in a heavily trafficked warehouse, using an RFID-based system. The company, which has asked to remain unnamed, stores and manages a large amount of temperature-sensitive products at its Texas warehouse.
