Celebrating the 50th anniversary of its foundation, Doosan has unveiled a high-tech forklift model running on lithium-ion batteries. The new power source will allow the BS7 vehicle to run two to three times longer hours than the existing lead-acid battery with a 33% shorter charging time. A man has been killed in an accident involving a forklift at Right Manufacturing in Lindon, Utah. Local police identified the victim as 21-year-old Riley McGill of American Fork. McGill became trapped and received fatal injuries while operating the forklift, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The incident remains under investigation. Dubai construction contractor Fujairah National Construction (FNC) is finding the Bobcat T40180 18 m telehandler more than a match for the harsh conditions in the United Arab Emirates.
