Family-owned and -operated Binder Machinery Co was named as the first North American distributor of reach stackers by a unit of China's Sany Group Co Ltd.
Sany America Inc made the Binder appointment on behalf of Sany Port Machinery Co Ltd for the geographic territory including New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania.
Binder Machinery, based in South Plainfield and with a branch in Winslow Township, New Jersey, includes Sany-brand crawler cranes and JLG aerial lift equipment among its product lines.
Walter Binder founded Binder Machinery in 1957. His son, Bob Binder, is chairman and owner. Members of the third generation of the Binder family with the business are Brendan Binder, Ashlee Binder McMackin, and Alan Binder.
