Over 180 companies have signed up to exhibit at ConExpo Russia, helping show organiser AEM exceed its initial space sales goal of 30,000 m² (322,917 sqft).

AEM says there is a growing demand in Russia for durable paving and new construction, and a booming commercial market in Russia has increased the demand for forestry equipment.

The show, held 15-18 September 2008 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow, will offer over 20 educational sessions where presenters from Russia, Europe and North America will share best practices in areas including durable paving, asphalt and concrete, cranes and high-rise construction.

Worker and road safety are also topics on the education agenda. Other sessions will focus on project and fleet management, engine emissions, financing equipment and newly-released highway construction fiscal data.

ConExpo Russia exhibitors include Caterpillar, JCB, JLG, Komatsu, Manitou and Terex. A complete list of exhibitors is on the show website (www.conexporussia.com).

AEM is organising the show with Moscow-based organiser Exhibition and Marketing Centre.
