Raymond West has been named a Cyngn distributorMaterials handling equipment provider Raymond West has been named as a US West Coast distributor for Cyngn’s autonomous DriveMod Tugger.
Cyngn chief executive officer Lior Tal said of the deal: “With 21 branches across the West Coast, Raymond West is an impressive company”.
“It boasts more than USD800 million in annual revenue and we are excited to be able to add Cyngn’s autonomous vehicles to their catalogue.”
Cyngn, which specialises in developing autonomous vehicles, said Raymond West’s decision to join its dealer network followed a summit at Cyngn’s headquarters attended by key decision makers from Raymond West.
The announcement came two days before Cyngn released a statement saying it has deployed its upgraded 5,500kg DriveMod Tugger featuring Motrec’s MT-160 technology, to a major manufacturer of automotive equipment, but declined to name the client.
Cyngn announced in September that its DriveMod Tugger is now suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.
