In daily operation, unloading goods from the shelf at high levels is most stressful for forklift operators. The slightest error in operation causes damage to the cargo or pallets, so the activity required the full attention of even the most experienced operator.

Nichiyu's laser pointer has been developed in order to reduce operators' stress and fatigue. When lifting and leveling the fork at the cargo position, a red laser beam line from the laser unit installed to fork
bracket highlights the position of fork insertion. That makes picking up the pallet at high position easier, even in dark warehouses and prevents damage to the cargo and pallet. It results in the drastic reduction of operators' stress and fatigue and improved maneuverability. This optional device, unique to Nichiyu, is popular as it provides superior performance at a lower cost compared to installing a monitor, and is available to almost all types of Nichiyu forklifts.
