Cascade Corporation is excited to enter into a joint marketing agreement with Ravas EU. Cascade will market the RAVAS line of lift truck mounted electronic scales under the Cascade-RAVAS brand name. "These fork and carriage mounted scales are a perfect extension to our existing fork positioner and fork product lines" stated Rick Whiting, Cascade Product Manager.

"The future of weighing material flows is mobile. Capturing weight information on forklift trucks and making that information instantly available to ERP or WMS systems, creates huge opportunities for boosting efficiency and saving costs. Cascade and RAVAS are a dream-team for bringing those opportunities to the market," says Henri van Seumeren, president of RAVAS.

According to Kevin Kreiter, VP engineering and marketing, the RAVAS product line offers some of the most advanced lift truck mounted scale technology available in the marketplace and fits in perfectly with the Cascade line up of attachments. Cascade-RAVAS products will be offered in markets located in North America, Central America (excluding Mexico), South America, Asia (excluding Japan), Africa and India.

Cascade will start shipping iForks from their Springfield, Ohio facility April 2010. iForks are the newest RAVAS weighing system, which will take weighing on forklift trucks a huge step forward. The iForks are completely wireless, with all electronics and power components integrated into the forks. This results in a highly accurate, extremely compact weighing device that can be installed on any counterbalanced truck, reach truck or narrow aisle truck in a matter of minutes.

For more information on iForks or to schedule an on site demo please give us a call at 800 CASCADE(227-2233). Or visit us on the web at www.cascorp.com.
