Cat Lift Trucks has introduced the P17500-P33000 series diesel pneumatic tyre forklift.

The new diesel forklifts have "new turbocharged engines, hydraulic fingertip control systems and ergonomic styling", a Cat Lift Trucks statement said.

Available in six capacities, ranging from 17,500lbs (7,938kg) to 33,000lbs (14,969kg), the forklifts are designed for "demanding applications".

Explosion-proof specialist Sichelschmidt has introduced the d-170S-XP/ADM model, a US-certified explosion-proof scale pallet truck.

The forklift has a 7,000lb (3,175kg) capacity and a 3.4 inch (0.09 metre) lowered fork height. It can carry and weigh pallets and totes.

The pallet truck's Ravas safe scale system measures weights in 2lb (0.907kg) increments.
