The Association of Equipment Manufacturers's (AEM) 2006 annual conference, on November 5-7 in Boca Raton, Florida, has a line up of speakers to examine global business trends affecting companies.

Jason Jennings, who chronicled the world's most successful companies' winning traits in books like "Think Big - Act Small", is the keynote speaker. He will reveal highlights from his latest research on the values of top-performing companies.

Nicholas Lardy, a China-Asia business expert and a senior fellow at Washington DC's Institute for International Economics, will provide insights into doing business with China.

Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of "Team of Rivals", will give a historical perspective on developing a management team with diverse viewpoints. Dan Pink, author of "A Whole New Mind", will offer his perspective on the value of hiring "right brain" intrinsically motivated people.

Rental expert Daniel Kaplan will moderate a panel on cultivating distribution channel relationships globally. Dealers from Brazil, China, Russia and Spain will participate. There will be a panel discussion on the industry's outlook for off-road equipment manufacturing among equipment customers.
