Konecranes launches compact electric reachstackerKonecranes has launched its new electric reachstacker at the TOC event in Singapore, after having debuted it to a select audience in Shanghai.
The range has launched with four models which Konecranes says offer high lifting capacity across all three container handling rows with five or six stacking height for 8’6” (2.6m)/ 9’6” (2.9m) containers.
The machines have a short wheelbase and compact dimensions offering a high degree of manoeuvrability and have been designed for high-intensity operations.
It has been engineered to offer up to 16 hours of operation and fast charging allows for a full charge in one to three hours, depending on battery size and charging power.
Other features include electric powertrain technology, advanced safety systems, intelligent controls, load-sensing hydraulics and a spacious cabin.
The reachstacker is now available in the Asia Pacific region, throughout the Middle East as well as Africa and South America. It is expected to be available to markets in the United States and Europe in 2026.
