Hiab secures large Moffett M8 NX2 forklift dealHiab has announced a EUR 21.6 million (USD25 million) deal with an unnamed customer in the US home improvement space, for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts.
Swedish-headquartered Hiab, a Cargotec Corporation subsidiary, says the order is for the 3.5T Moffett M8 NX2 model forklifts.
The order was booked in Q2 and deliveries are expected to start in Q3 this year.
Pauliina Kunvik, Hiab’s senior vice president sales and services, North America says the deal represents a deepening of a partnership with an existing, strategic customer.
In January this year, Hiab announced it had secured a EUR19.5 million (USD20.29 million) deal for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts and Hiab cranes from two large US home improvement sector customers.
