Wolter Inc continues acquisitions

Wolter Inc, a US-based provider of materials handling solutions, has acquired Certified Door & Dock Services (CDDS), a Tennessee-headquartered supplier of dock and door solutions, as it looks to expand its presence in the United States’ Southeastern region.

The acquisition follows the January purchase of Illinois-based materials handling equipment seller Midway Industrial Equipment as a strategic move to increase Wolter’s presence in the US Midwest.

Wolter, which was founded in 1962 in Milwaukee, offers materials handling equipment sales and service including forklifts, automation and industrial storage.

Wolter CEO Jerry Weidmann says of the latest acquisition: “The addition of Certified Door & Dock Services to the Wolter family is a pivotal step in our growth strategy and further solidifies our presence in the Southeast”.

“Their exceptional customer-centric approach mirrors our own, and by enhancing our dock & door division, we can continue to deliver dependable equipment and comprehensive support that keeps our customers’ operations running seamlessly.”

CDDC has been operating for more than 30 years.
