Clarke Europe has named Holger Schmitz as its new director of sales and marketing, replacing Stefan Budweit who has stepped up to the role of president and CEO.
Schmitz has a long history with Clark, having most recently held the position of business development manager since 2023 where has helped to expand the dealer network through the EMEA region.
Schmitz first started with Clark in 2000 in Mülheim as an intern before taking on a permanent role in the internal sales department. He was a dealer advisor with Pramac Lifter between 2003 and 2007, when he was named country manager with Doosan Industrial Vehicle Europe where he managed the German branches as well as sales activities in the DACH region and Eastern Europe.

Jon DeSouza will fill the new Executive Board position for Sales and Marketing with the Harting Technology Group.
Harting Technology Group chief executive officer Philip Harting says of the appointment: “The strategic management of global sales and marketing activities and the appointment of Jon DeSouza are a clear sign that our customers will be even more at the centre of our activities in the future”.
“With Jon DeSouza, we are promoting an employee who has been with the Harting Technology Group for 16 years,” Harting adds.

Mark Messina
Indian-headquartered global hybrid autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) maker Anscer Robotics, has named industry veteran Mark Messina as its managing director and CEO - Americas, as it pushes into the US market.
Anscer, which recently announced funding from a venture capital firm, has launched US headquarters in Austin, Texas to build its presence in the US.
Messina has more than 25 years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing and operations. In his new role, he will lead Anscer’s go-to-market strategy in the US, business development and partnerships.
“Messina will spearhead Anscer’s expansion, bringing innovative, safety-driven automation solutions to industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, food & beverage, and third-party logistics,” the company states.
