The world first StaplerCup forklift championships have been held

A new research partnership has been signed by two giants of the motoring world to integrate their technologies in a bid to build “the most capable humanoid platform, both in terms of physical capability and software interfaces for authoring whole-body behaviours”.

This week we also look at the launch of two other robot products which have been designed for order picking and pallet-handling.

The impact of emerging robot and humanoid technology on the materials handling world could prove to be profound and may well provide a sustainable solution to the skills shortage facing the sector.

This week, we also report on the inaugural World StaplerCup where three new world forklift champions were crowned in front of a packed stadium. Find out who the winners are.
