Every week we report on exciting advances in robotics and automation in the materials handling sector. 

This week we have a tragic – and disturbing – story of automation gone wrong, with a robotics company technician crushed to death by an obviously malfunctioning robot.

The details are scarce but the incident is a reminder that technology is not infallible.
