As we wait to find out the full extent of the death and destruction caused by the wildfires in Hawaii, those assisting in the recovery efforts have warned that supply chain assistance will probably be needed for weeks, if not months.

Our thoughts go out to all those affected. As we report in this newsletter, Toyota’s Hawaii distributor is operating without disruption and its staff and families are unharmed.

Meanwhile, an apology to our subscribers who received two copies of last week’s newsletter. We’re working hard to ensure the glitch in our system does not reoccur.
