Power Lift forklifts have three battery modes

Yale Lift Truck Technologies has announced a factory option for electric forklifts to run on thin plate pure lead (TPPL), lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.

The Power Key option, which allows operators to switch between TPPL, lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, will be available on some of Yale's narrow aisle riders, walkie pallet jacks, rider pallet trucks and sit-down counterbalanced trucks.

The Power Key technology will allow the equipment users to switch between three battery modes: lead-acid; lithium-ion; and TPPL.

Yale Lift Truck Technologies brand manager Brad Long says: “From charging and battery maintenance responsibilities to emissions, lift truck motive power has huge implications for warehouse labour, productivity and sustainability.

“This solution is a direct answer to customer demand for flexibility, equipping warehouses with seamlessly integrated technology that makes it fast and easy to transition among all three battery types.”

Power Key-enabled forklifts have a battery protection system that triggers a controlled shutdown when the battery reaches full discharge.

In lithium-ion or TPPL mode, a low battery early warning system also provides the operator with multiple warnings that the forklift needs to be charged.

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
