It's encouraging that after everything we have been through in the past two years, materials handling is still focused on reducing emissions and minimising its carbon footprint, as we read in this week's special report.
The report is well-timed, coinciding with this week's communique from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which calls on policymakers and business decision-makers to step up their efforts toward a more sustainable economy. As one IPCC member put it: "All industries need to urgently prioritise implementing non-fossil solutions to protect future generations."
