There was an advertisement in the '80s in which American entrepreneur Victor Kiam said he liked Remington razors so much that he bought the company.
This week, we see something similar, with online retailer Amazon taking a stake in warehouse robotics firm Balyo.
Not only will Amazon be adopting the French company's technology for self-driving forklifts, it also has the right to buy up to a third of the company.
Amazon did something similar in 2012, buying Kiva Systems and adopting its warehouse robots.
Balyo already supplies its technology to a number of forklift manufacturers and if the Amazon deal reflects anything, it is confidence in AGVs. Watch this space ...
