This week's Safety First column looks at the dangers surrounding complacency, or what Nick Welch defines as "patting ourselves on the back while being ignorant of danger and our own shortcomings".
It's interesting that this complacency is only really visible at the end of the line, among forklift users.
There's no watching the grass grow among manufacturers. Take, for example, Toyota which is not satisfied with being number one, so this week has added Tailift to its empire.
And as we read each week, progressive dealers are also not resting on their laurels. Instead, they're merging, acquiring, updating, expanding and adding brands.
But somehow, when the forklift ends up where it's most needed, we tend to lower our guard and just rely on its inbuilt safety and the predictability of the workplace and our colleagues.
But, as we read this week, that's how accidents happen. So, let's be careful out there ...

And a quick apology: Technical issues this week delayed our regular Marketplace update email which contains new listings. Unfortunately, this went out a day later than usual and we apologise to all those whose forklifts were listed - and those who had to wait a little longer to find them.
The good news is that we have solved the mailserver issues.
