Safety is clearly one of the most important operational issues for forklifts, and over the years, we have highlighted a range of topics from roll-over avoidance to train-the-trainer requirements. But sometimes it's worth taking a step back and checking the basics. And that's what we do in this week's Safety First column: look at some of the key precautions. Some of the tips may be glaringly obvious - in fact, we hope they all are. But if there's even one piece of information which had been overlooked and which is brought to your attention, then we have achieved our objective of making sure we're all safe out there.
