Another big materials handling trade show has come and gone. Organisers are hailing CeMAT Asia as a success, and many exhibitors are happy with their participation. But these trade shows are not universally endorsed, and some big names prefer not to take part. Obviously, the wisdom of their position is debatable. Many say that the big players can afford to be absent because their reputations are strong enough. But what does that say about the shows - and about the exhibitors which do participate? It would be interesting to hear what buyers think of the trade shows - and those companies which boycott them. Perhaps someone will be inspired to post something on our Discussion Forums.
