An interesting debate is being waged in the Forkliftaction.com forums about idiot-proofing forklifts. There's a desire to design safety features into the vehicles so that they are impervious to driver abuse. Unfortunately, as many of the contributors point out, forklift operators are an ingenious bunch when it comes to overriding safety systems and, as a member from Texas points out, it is impossible to engineer against stupidity. "One cannot anticipate all of the stupid things operators may or may not do," says the contributor. "Education and enforcement should suffice!" Do you agree? Have your say on this hot topic here .

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
