Manchester, United KingdomCaribou has appointed Daryl Dylan as managing director as its expansion plans pick up pace.
Dylan was previously head of carriers and commercials and his first order of business is to grow the Caribou depot network to 10 centres over the next 12 months. Dylan will also head up a significant recruitment drive, with 150 new jobs to be created by March 2021. Many of the new roles will be focused in additional service areas, including domestic and international freight forwarding, same-day and haulage which will be added to the Caribou service portfolio before the end of the year.

Ballard Power Systems has announced that Ian Sutcliffe, a member of the company's board of directors since 2013, has retired from the board.
"Ballard's considerable progress during my seven-year tenure on the board of directors is the direct result of the hard work and determination of the company's committed team of employees," says Sutcliffe. "It has been a true privilege to work with the board members and the management group during a period of significant change. I am pleased to retire from the board at a time when Ballard is well positioned to enjoy long-term growth in the hydrogen and fuel cell industry."

MHI's new chief executive officer.
Paxton is a mechanical engineer who brings over 30 years of industry experience to the organisation. Through his involvement with MHI, he has served as chairman of the board of MHI, as well as CMAA and HMI president.
His previous roles include vice president and general manager of Terex MHPS Corporation in North America, and president and CEO of Demag Crane and Components Corporation in North America.
Paxton has a BS Mechanical Engineering degree from Ohio State University and an MBA from Kent State University.
