McAllister SAS is adding Mitsubishi forklifts |
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) has appointed McAllister SAS to represent Mitsubishi forklift trucks in Colombia.
McAllister will have sales and service presence in Barranquilla, Cali and service presence in Eje Cafetero, Medellín, Buenaventura.
"We are delighted to enter into this long-term partnership with McAllister Equipment," says David Jarr, MCFA general manager, dealer development. "For one hundred years, McAllister has delivered measurable value to hundreds of customers in the Colombia region, where they are known as the materials handling leader. With a reputation for exceeding customer expectations in equipment sales, parts, service and rental, they are best in class at managing the customer ownership cycle."
Daniel McAllister, vice president at McAllister, notes his company's ability and motivation to adapt and develop as one of the most important machinery distributors in Colombia. "One of the main factors today is the speed at which change occurs. This is why we have worked so hard to better serve our customers by representing renowned worldwide brands, partnering in strategic relationships, and by developing high-quality after-sales support."
He believes that the addition of the Mitsubishi forklift product line will enable McAllister to "expand our potential market share in Colombia".
Mitsubishi forklifts join the McAllister offering as the sole forklift brand, alongside JLG AWPs, Grove and Elliot cranes, and SkyTrak telehandlers.
"We have been working with forklift trucks for over 25 years, and it has become one of our main lines, making Mitsubishi fork lift trucks one of our pillars as it is now our only forklift provider and ally," McAllister explains.
The dealership has ramped up its staff to accommodate the new line, hiring a rental specialist and recruiting another sales rep.
In addition, McAllister says all of his firm's technicians have undergone intense training by MCFA staff, "not only in how to repair, but also in how to use their software for diagnostics and for buying spare parts".
