 Lèbre's delivery line-up of 14 Genie GS-1932 scissor lifts ready for cold-storage installation |
Cold insulation specialist Lèbre SAS recently took delivery of 14 Genie GS-1932 scissor lifts to assist in the installation of new state-of-the-art premises in Nantes.
The project will be completed by the end of the northern autumn, 2018. Offering a maximum working height of 7.60 m and a maximum lift capacity of 227 Kg, the machines were supplied by Genie distributor SNM Lift.
"We already own more than 30 Genie machines, the majority of which are Genie GS-1932 electric scissor lifts," says manager Eric Lèbre. "As far as we are concerned, Genie scissor lifts are the choice solution.
"In our line of business, zero emissions and low noise levels are a must-have. However, we also need sufficient battery power to work efficiently for long shifts and an excellent level of manoeuvrability to adapt to busy work-site environments. In our 15 years using mobile aerial work platforms, besides the great service provided by SNM Lift, we have remained loyal to Genie because the machines are extremely robust and reliable. Uptime is a key focus, and in this respect, the Genie GS-1932 scissor lift ticks all the right boxes."
On this project, Lèbre is operating its 14 Genie GS-1932 units to install the cold storage systems at height. These scissors are being used in conjunction with telehandlers, which provide operators with constant, sufficient quantities of insulating panelling.
"The Genie GS-1932 scissor lift is just right for one person and the materials and tools we need. Its compact dimensions are ideal for busy sites and manoeuvring through doorways and tight spaces. Our operators also love the full height drive and the latest Genie Smart Charger system, which makes recharging 20% faster. The fact that they can now see the charging cycle from the side, as well as from the back, of the machine is also an improvement that makes the recharging process easier," says Lèbre.
