 Mark Sichi |
Xtreme Manufacturing has announced the sad death of telehandler industry veteran Mark Sichi.
Sichi, aged 61, died as he completed a workout at the gym. He is survived by a daughter, two sons, and five grandchildren.
During his 15-year tenure at Xtreme Manufacturing, Sichi was an integral member of the sales team, handling many key accounts. He then moved into a role in telehandler product development, where he provided valuable market knowledge and technical insight into the design of new equipment for both Xtreme and Snorkel.
Sichi also shared his vast experience through training sessions that he conducted at The Academy at Ahern for team members across the Ahern family of companies, as well as for customers and dealers.
He was well known for his product training rodeos, where he would make sure that all trainees got to experience the equipment hands-on.
In a statement, Xtreme says: "Mark touched the lives of many people in our family of companies, as well as in the entire industry. He will be remembered as kind, charismatic and optimistic, and always willing to mentor and support others to deliver the best results possible. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him."
Sichi was laid to rest in Cotati, California.
