For Baseplan Software, the success of the Kennards Hire website integration, which was built using all of the Baseplan Gateway components, including Query, Integration and Eventing Services, sets the benchmark for future business practices.

Workflow Step-by-step

Integrating the site with Baseplan Enterprise results in everyday business processes, such as reservations, contracts, extend hire, customer management, pre-billing, availability checking, payment and invoicing, all working seamlessly and in real-time.

Working with a third-party supplier, the site now contains built-in capability for credit card tokenisation, making the hiring process instantaneous. Card details are stored securely and accessed by Baseplan Enterprise where fields are automatically pre-filled for returning customers.

Within a few hours of going live, a Kennards Hire customer used the new site to book and pay for a removal van. Kennards Hire contacted the customer who was reportedly thrilled with his user experience, advising that he had successfully searched and booked the van within minutes, adding that the whole process was so easy and simple when compared to his previous experiences, and would definitely use it again.
