The SC 6000 in use outdoors |
Crown Equipment Corporation has introduced the Crown SC 6000 Series, a four-wheel outdoor version of its warehouse forklift.
The electric sit-down counterbalance forklift offers a number of features that help improve operator performance in tough conditions, including new soft and hard cab options. The rugged design of the hard cabin and the two-way sliding, locking windows on the clear-view doors improve operators' control of their working conditions.
The soft cabin features an acrylic top and rear window and doors that can be rolled up or down as weather conditions change.
A steer axle, featuring robust steel construction, and super-elastic tyres for use indoors and outdoors increase the durability of the forklift while helping create a more comfortable ride.
Austrian company Gebrüder Weiss Transport & Logistik GmbH was one of the companies that field-tested the new Crown SC 6000 during the forklift's development.
"The robust and durable Crown SC 6000 Series forklift impressed us, both with its functional and ergonomic design, and its reliable and productivity-enhancing technology," says Werner Drnec, purchasing and operations manager at Gebrüder Weiss. "The four-wheel model is exceptionally versatile and offers great ease of use, impressive hydraulic performance and superb all-round visibility - even when a cab is fitted."
