After 10 years, the RX 70 family continues to grow

Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of its launch, STILL continues to expand the range of its popular RX 70 series.

At CeMAT 2016 in Hannover, a new RX 70 truck with a load capacity of 2 T and a load centre of 600 mm made its first public appearance. Soon, further models will be launched to extend the range to 3.5 T.


STILL says when it introduced the RX 70 family 10 years ago, the focus was quite deliberately placed on high performance at very low fuel consumption rates.

The new models feature a new counterweight and an extended wheelbase.

The drive system has five adjustable drive programs, and to accelerate and brake, the driver only needs to control the drive pedal. If the driver takes a foot off the pedal, the truck brakes electrically, without any brake wear.

All machines are covered by a three-year full warranty for all components of the drive train. Maintenance is only required every 1,000 hours of operation or every 12 months.
