The Manitowoc Co. Inc. has named Barry L. Pennypacker as president and CEO of Manitowoc Cranes. Pennypacker will report immediately to Kenneth W. Krueger, current interim chairman and CEO of The Manitowoc Co.
Most recently, Pennypacker served as founder, president and CEO of Quantum Lean LLC, a privately held manufacturer and supplier of precision components. Prior to that, he was president, CEO and a director of Gardner Denver Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of engineered industrial machinery and related parts and services.

Matti Kavetvuo has announced his resignation from the Konecranes Plc Board of Directors. Kavetvuo says that he has given up other positions of trust during recent years and that it is now high time to resign also from his last board membership in a listed company. The resignation is not related to Konecranes Plc or the merger with Terex Corporation, other than indirectly in relation to the workload, which is due to increase significantly at this point as a consequence of merger preparations.
Kavetvuo joined Konecranes' board in 2001.
There are no other changes to the composition of Konecranes Plc's Board of Directors.
