The new Springfield facility

Materials handling specialist Connell Company has opened a new location in Springfield, Missouri.

Since 1929, Connell Company has been a valued and trusted supplier of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment throughout eastern Missouri and southern Illinois. The new Springfield facility at 3015 N. Lester Jones Avenue is in addition to the current operations in St. Louis and Kansas City.

Connell Company boasts four generations of experience and offers a large inventory of forklifts, with leasing and rental plans available, as well as training and service.

The Springfield location is a new authorised dealer of Doosan forklifts and materials handling equipment.

John Turek, vice president, notes that Connell Company and Doosan are both "committed to the same customer-focused values our company has been built upon".

"Our entrance and success into the southwest Missouri market will play a crucial role in the continued expansion of our company by allowing us to serve our current customer base more effectively and efficiently," he adds.

The expansion has also been welcomed by Lyndle McCurley, general manager of dealer development for Doosan Industrial Vehicle America, who says Connell Company will give the Doosan brand a very strong presence in the Springfield area.
