Clark Material Handling Company has expanded Apex Material Handling's distribution region to include Bartonville, Illinois.

Apex, a full-service Clark dealer in Chicago, will provide sales, service and parts for Clark from its Bartonville facility.

John Paul Turcich, Apex Material Handling president, sees the move as a continuation of the "momentum for our future growth and expansion in the industry".

"Apex has a history of providing innovative products and extraordinary services that make them a great candidate to grow coverage within the Clark family of authorised dealers," says Rob Smith, Clark dealer development manager.

Apex will support its Clark new equipment, aftermarket parts and service efforts in this new market from its existing Bartonville facility.

In 2010, Apex added the Clark brand to its forklift inventory (Forkliftaction.com News #473) as an authorised distributor in 14 counties in northern Illinois and north west Indiana.

Apex began selling, servicing and supporting Doosan forklifts in 2006. In addition, Apex represents Big Joe and the Genie aerial equipment line.
