The aforementioned racking systems were customised specifically to Littles' requirements and have brought further benefits to the customer in the form of improvements in picking efficiency.

SSI Schaefer implemented a unique solution which successfully helped Covs meet their current requirements and caters for future growth. The I600 VNA Racking System was designed to increase storage capacity by fully utilising vertical warehouse space and increase the speed of work flow. SSI Schaefer's system ensures that put-away and picking activities can now be carried out more efficiently, with reduced risk of forklift accidents.

SSI Schaefer has designed a storage solution which utilises vertical warehouse space for Häfele, which is an option that is very rarely used in India. The racking and shelving systems installed in the Bhiwandi warehouse help facilitate faster picking and distribution activities. Not only does the new storage facility provide Häfele with a higher storage capacity, it also allows them to have complete selectivity of products.

With a set of unique storage solutions, SSI Schaefer managed to increase the warehouse storage capacity for Kuehne + Nagel to meet their existing demand. The installation of the VNA Racking System has brought about an increase of 40% warehouse storage space, and further benefits for the client include reduction in lifecycle costs. Systems & Automation- Symbion, Australia : Goods-to-Person Solution to improve picking efficiency
The implementation of SSI Schaefer's Goods to Person picking system has effectively helped Symbion improve their storage and picking efficiency. The system allows operators to pick up to 1,500 pieces per hour in an ergonomic environment. SSI Schaefer's standard order fulfilment software works hand-in-hand with Symbion's host to manage the storage, routing, conveying and fulfilment of the order totes through the system.
