Group chairman spurs staff on
Seoul, South Korea

Doosan Group chairman Yongmaan Park told staff in his 'New Year's Message' that economic recovery will provide opportunities for those who are ready.
"The significance of the year of 2014 cannot be overstated since the recovery of the global economy is now visible in terms of business environment," Park said.
He noted in his speech that the survivors of past economic crises were also harvesters of the fruits from economic recovery.
"However, as most sufferers of the recent recession turned out to have survived it, the size of the fruit for each will depend on how prepared and planned each company has been, and it is more than obvious that only those who are properly ready will enjoy more market opportunities.
"We must spend this year making sure we have exceptional products, technology, and work strategies to become winners in the global market. All of our preparations for the recovery phase must be completed this year."
