Baoli Material Handling Europe has established its European headquarter based in Prague, Czech Republic.

The team co-ordinates and manages matters concerning Baoli China and its European distributors. For example, it assists the distributor network by organising training and support services as well as knowledge exchange between the distributors.

General Manager of Baoli Material Handling Europe, Rory Harvey-Kelly, is responsible for developing the distributor and dealer network, while Jan Dastych is the Service Manager and has significant experience in after-sales activities for materials handling companies. At Baoli, he is now responsible for all after-sales services including spare parts, warranty claims and technical training. Vera Klickova, Office Manager, manages administration and marketing matters.

Besides English and Czech, the team speaks other languages including German, Italian and French.

"The European office, with its experienced team, differentiates Baoli from most other Chinese manufacturers," says Harvey-Kelly. "In this way, we are able to support Baoli distributors and dealers Europe-wide and thus give additional value to our reliable and practical products."

The European Baoli network has some 20 distributors. Among them are companies which have been working successfully with Baoli for many years. For example, Formak in Turkey started distributing Baoli in 2003; JSC in Russia began in 2004 and Maxim in the UK has been part of the operation since 2005. In addition, in 2013 new distributors from various countries in Europe joined the network.

"We decided to establish our European office in Prague because the Czech capital offers a good logistics infrastructure for Europe", continues Harvey-Kelly. "It is also important to be close to both mature and developing markets."
