B&B Attachments Ltd has teamed up with local training provider Amacus Ltd to improve its employees' customer service skills.
Eleven staff members completed the course, which started in April, to achieve a National Vocational Qualifications Level 2 certificate. B&B, which claims to be a leader in the UK market, hopes the training will enhance its company's reputation globally as it aims to be a player in the international forklift attachment market.
The course has led to B&B developing an internal customer charter to ensure its staff know and agree to the same standard of client response.
B&B is already planning its next set of training sessions, which are due to commence in 2013. With further employee development in the pipeline, in addition to the customer service course, the company is shortlisted for a Northumberland Business Award 2012 in Training.
B&B says it wants to expand its business, and hopes to move to larger premises in the near future.
