K&S Corporation Limited is expanding its Western Australia operations.

Transport and logistics specialist K&S Corporation Limited will expand its Western Australia operations with an agreement to buy the business and assets of the Bunbury-based Collare Transport Group.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by 31 October 2012.

Collare Transport, which has a strong focus on the timber industry, has annual revenues of approximately $12 million and employs about 35 people.

K&S managing director Greg Stevenson says the acquisition presents an excellent opportunity to generate operational synergies and to improve the returns of the combined businesses.
