 Nichiyu Aisle Master |
With the Safety Show Sydney and Sydney Materials Handling looming in October, exhibitors are providing a glimpse into new and exciting technologies they plan to showcase.Take Nichiyu Forklifts Australia, now officially the national distributors for the Aisle-Master VNA articulated forklift, the most versatile lift truck.
Nichiyu will display the truck at the Aisle-Master stand. The truck works in narrow aisles as small as 1.9mtrs and lift heights up to 12.4mtrs, single or double deep, maximising warehouse space. It does not need wire or rail guidance like other narrow aisle products.
It can be used inside and outside unloading and loading trucks or containers on uneven surfaces and is capable of doing the job of a reach/turret and counter balance truck.
Visitors at the two Trade Shows, to be held conjointly 23-25 October at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, will have a unique opportunity to check out the latest OHS and materials handling products all under one roof along with hundreds of new and innovative ways to improve workplace performance.
They will also be able to attend free workshops and seminars and become acquainted with changed workplace settings and their impacts.
Flowcrete - Nissan - Macklin Motors UK |
Among the exhibits will be Flowcrete Australia's Flowfast range of fast-curing resin flooring materials for commercial or industrial environments, including warehouses. The Flowfast resin floor system is ready to receive foot traffic in just two hours, minimising disruption to working environments during installation or repair.
Seconds Count is dedicated to saving lives and property by raising the general awareness of effective emergency management and evacuation procedures in the workplace. The stand will show flexible and dynamic e-learning programs accessible and cost effective for training any employee, in any business, in any location, at any time.
Backjoy Australia will demonstrate a sitting orthotic that helps the wearer sit better in the best possible posture. It can be used in any sitting situation whether at work or in the car. It simply cups the pelvis to promote an S-curve spine as opposed to C-curve spine where slouched and stooped over, causing improper posture and in many cases back pain.
These are just a sample of more than 150 exhibitors with products and services to interest warehouse managers, engineers, plant managers and others.
Concurrently running and co-located with The Safety Show Sydney and Sydney Materials Handling will be CleanScene, a Trade Show focussing on cleaning and hygiene products and services.
Of interest to the warehouse industry, for example, will be Peerless JAL's new floor finish using nano hybrid technology that has clear benefits where flooring is subject to heavy use. The floor finish combines the hardness and durability of polyurethanes with the ease of application and strippability of acrylics.
