Bauma Conexpo show nearly full

The upcoming expo bC India 2013 is almost fully booked, despite organisers extending the exhibition space to 150,000 sqm (1.6 million sqft.), significantly bigger than 2011's 88,000 sqm (947,000 sqft.).
The organisers have even drawn up a waiting list for some sections of the show.
Thomas Löffler, CEO of bC Expo India Pvt Ltd, explains: "Many companies have booked more space than at the first event. That shows the high regard bC India already enjoys among exhibitors." JCB will be exhibiting at the construction show for the first time. Other exhibitors include Ashok Leyland, Case, Cifa, Hyundai, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Shantui.
The expo takes place on 5-8 February 2013 at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Konecranes in "World's Greatest!..." TV series

Konecranes has been selected by producers of US TV show "World's Greatest!..." to be part of the series.
The Finnish manufacturer will be featured as the "World's Greatest Lifting Equipment Company", according to Modern Material Handling News.
The show will give viewers insight into Konecranes' equipment processes and features interviews with key members of the company.

Intermodal Europe registration opens

Over 5,000 container supply chain professionals are expected to meet at the Amsterdam RAI on 27-29 November for Intermodal Europe 2012.
After a well-attended exhibition in 2011, the 36th installation has opened registration early for the free, three-day event, which covers all areas of container transport and logistics, for road, rail and sea. Previous shows have attracted visitors from more than 100 countries.
There will be over 50 free conference sessions at the expo, and the speakers and topics will be announced in September, a spokeswoman says.
