Operators overloading their forklifts?
Creating unsafe and potentially deadly situations?
Want accountability for abusive operators?

KEYTROLLER has several solutions for overload sensing

WEIGH-ALERT---Overload warning system
  1. Hydraulic sensor is installed in pressure side below mast.
  2. Indicator constantly monitors weight being lifted and sounds audible alarm before the maximum lifting weight is reached.
  3. It displays the load as a % of the maximum load capacity.
  4. When weight reaches 90% of maximum capacity, device sounds 5 beeps and the display begins flashing.
  5. When load reaches maximum capacity, device internal alarm (and optional external alarm where fitted) will sounds continuously until the load is reduced.
  6. Optional 3 LED light bar (clear, amber, red) is mounted at eye level for clear warning.
  7. The instrument memorizes the number of times it is overloaded along with maximum overload as a % of the alarm load.
  8. Overload info is viewed on display by management.

WEIGHTROLLER-Hydraulic scale with overload warning.
  1. This model has all the same overload features and capabilities
  2. Also can be set to show load weights in Kgs or Lbs.
  3. "ON" mode: The weight is sampled constantly, and so the displayed weight is a 'live' figure that changes accordingly.
  4. "AUTO" mode: Unless the calculated weight changes by more than 2% over a set weight sampling period (1 sec), the displayed weight is frozen.
  • In 'auto' mode, the calculations for Percentage Load indications and Overload alarm functions remain based on constant 'live' weight sampling.

SMARTIE---Drive camera----VIDEO PROOF OF OVERLOAD
  1. Up to 4 SMARTIE cameras installed on forklift.
  2. "Cigarette pack" sized DVR with SD card, mounted in lockable enclosure.
  3. Hydraulic sensor is calibrated to 90-100% of full lift capacity, has output at overload threshold.
  4. Overload sensor is connected to DVR trigger input, when sensor outputs signal-- video is started and recorded to SD card.
  5. Management removes SD card from lockable box to review saved impact events.
  6. SD card inserted into card reader in PC, software is on SD card.
  7. Management can evaluate video overload event simultaneously from 1-2-3 or 4 camera views.
  8. Events can be saved as AVI file in drivers file.

  9. KEYTROLLER-- access monitoring system with overload sensing
    1. Color LCD display with built in RFID reader and WiFi radio.
    2. Checklist automation, impact and speed sending.
    3. Optional hydraulic sensor calibrated to 90-100% of maximum lift capacity.
    4. Overload warning shows on LCD display.
    5. Programmable "grace period" and shut down.
    6. Event is recorded into device memory
