Charlotte, North Carolina - May 30, 2012 - Material handling dealer Yale Carolinas, Inc. announced a three-year extension of their marketing agreement with Nacco Materials Handling Group (NMHG) to be the sole representative of the Yale brand forklift throughout parts of six southeastern states, the company announced today.

"It's a tremendous affirmation of the partnership going forward that has formed between Yale Carolinas and the Yale brand over the last twenty five years," said Gray Wheeler, company President, "especially given the flux in the material handling marketplace throughout the southeast. We aren't going anywhere."

The past year has seen a number of forklifts dealers nationwide abandoning the forklift brand they represent, as well as forklift manufacturers terminating dealerships based on poor performance and other market variables.

Mr. Wheeler feels that Yale Carolinas' long-term stability and commitment to its customers and product have made a real difference: "Throughout the recession, Yale Carolinas was profitable every year, increased market share for the Yale brand, and continued its twenty-five year history of not laying off a single employee. There aren't many of our competitors who can say that."

"This long-term extension of our marketing agreement brings clarity to what has become a muddled marketplace for many other brands and dealers throughout the material handling industry," said Scott Moe, Yale Carolinas Vice President, Sales & Marketing. "Customers have come to trust Yale Carolinas as their single source material handling partner for new and used equipment, rentals, parts, and service for the foreseeable future. Our focus continues to be providing unique material handling solutions that increase productivity and lower overall costs while providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction levels."

Yale Carolinas, Inc. is a six-state, ten-branch material handling dealership, founded in 1988. The company sells, rents, and arranges leases for new and used equipment, conducts on-site service and sells parts for all forklift brands. Yale Carolinas operates branch locations in Charlotte and Hickory, NC; Tri-Cities, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, TN; Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Montgomery, AL; and Dalton, GA, and has territory including parts of Virginia and South Carolina.
