AC drive and small size delivers exceptional value to users both large and small

Big Joe's CB22 walkie counterbalance lift truck offers the advantages of AC technology in a compact and flexible pedestrian design.

Featuring dimensions for the tightest applications, the new CB22 electric forklift has the ability to handle loads just like a sit-down rider truck at a lower purchase price, and with significantly lower operating costs. Managers will appreciate the unit's ability to perform well in support roles, indoor or outdoor applications - including dock work, and for general purpose material handling.

This versatile little truck is well suited for manufacturing, wholesale, retail, transportation or other applications where a more complicated or expensive machine is not required. While the pedestrian design can complete most material handling tasks, the CB22 can also be used to supplement high duty cycle/ high cost vehicles in accord with fleet management best practices

Capabilities and features

The steel frame of the Big Joe CB22 and I-beam channel mast are rugged enough to handle loads of 2,200lbs and can reach heights of over 10 feet. An AC drive motor and ZAPI controller provide torque on demand at any speed, and deliver run times in excess of 4 hours continuous per charge. The maintenance free drive unit on the Big Joe CB22 has no moving parts -- is highly programmable -- and powered by a similarly maintenance free AGM 224AH battery pack with integral charger. An ergonomic control tiller with a steering arc in excess of 180 degrees gives the unit great maneuverability, while a mast tilt cylinder assists in pallet entry and placement.

Simplicity and reliability

We know that complexity is the enemy of good design and a driver of unnecessary cost. Because of this, we developed our new Big Joe CB22 to follow our 60 year brand tradition of employing simplicity and durability to deliver exceptional value. The Big Joe CB22 like our other AC models uses best of breed components from the world's top suppliers rather than proprietary systems. This gives managers more flexibility long term and from having to rely on specialized certified technicians. Simply put, keeping things simple is the best path to reliability.
