A 3 May Northwest Herald business feature article reported last week in Forkliftaction.com News erroneously says Nissan Forklift Corp of Marengo assembles and tests engines for five competing forklift brands.

"The statement in the NW Herald is incorrect . . . in its entirety," Nissan Forklift tells Forkliftaction.com News. "We are currently working with them to make a correction and retract that statement.

"Nissan Forklift does not disclose its relationships with other OEMs or any of its suppliers."

The daily Northwest Herald newspaper is a division within the suburban strategic marketing group of Dixon, Illinois-based publishing group Shaw Media.
