Family-owned and operated All Lift Service Co Inc, of Willoughby, Ohio, added Clark Material Handling Co's forklift lines to its product offerings on 15 November.
Within the Cleveland metropolitan market, All Lift represents Clark in five counties and handles Komatsu in five counties, says John L Gelsimino, president. Four of the counties overlap. Bill Wolf is All Lift's sales manager.
Clark says All Lift "being in the Cleveland market for 39 years certainly qualifies them as a known material handling entity and gives Clark a real boost in a territory that contains so much potential". Two other forklift dealerships have represented Clark in the Cleveland market in recent years.
"We look forward to our 40-year anniversary next year," Gelsimino says. His father, John P Gelsimino, started the business in 1972, following in the footsteps of family patriarch John Gelsimino, who was in the machinery moving business throughout his working life.
All Lift began representing the Kalmar AC brand in 1992, which evolved in 2001 into handling the Komatsu forklift line.
All Lift Service employs 35 people. "We are in the process of adding a couple of people for anticipated demands," John L Gelsimino says.
The business occupies two buildings, one of 38,000 sqft. (3,420 sqm) for forklift service, repairs, maintenance, rental fleet and sales operations and a 10,000 sqft. (900 sqm) building for storage.
All Lift's All Industrial Engines department sells and distributes in-house re-manufactured forklift and industrial engines throughout North America.
