Shanghai/Hannover - Registering significant increase in the number of exhibitors and the amount of display space rented, PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA 201 triumphed again at Shanghai New International Expo Centre on 28 October.

Total 1,950 exhibitors presented their products and solutions for power transmission/fluid and intralogisitics on a display space measuring 120,000 sqm - up 26 percent than last year. The four-day event welcomed nearly 60,000 trade visitors from 80 countries and regions - a strong evidence of the shows core competence in the market.

Leading manufacturers appearing at the show included Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, Eaton, Parker Hannifin, Hydac, Gates, Hawe, KTR, Daikin, KAWASAKI, NOK, SKF, Bonfiglioli and NORD for PTC, and CeMAT with KION BAOLI, Crown, STILL and Combilift, Kunming Shipbuilding, BMHRI, MURATEC, Siemens, DEMAG, TGW, Swisslog, SWF, KITO, GH, Interrol and ITOH.

"The complete success of this year's events reveals that these two international trade shows possess considerable potential to expand," reported Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG, "We will undertake to develop the show further, introducing more advanced technologies and more marketing measures to attract all relevant visitor target groups for our exhibitors."

Proving to be an unprecedented success story this year, two shows realized a significant upturn in terms of both exhibitor quality and quantity. According to the organizers, the number of overseas exhibitors at PTC reached 10% up and 8% sharply increase at CeMAT, which indicated a huge market potential in China and more and more foreign manufactures were keening on this 'cake'.

PTC ASIA this year celebrated its 20th anniversary, drawing 1,500 exhibitors on 92,000 sqm show area. The loyal exhibitor Parker Hannifin stroke the event with its 'Viking Lite directional pneumatic control valves' - new product's world premiere to the visitors. Talking about the market strategy in China, Lin Jiahui, sales director of Automation Department of Parker told the organizer, "the growth of packaging, transportation and automotive nowadays in China will continue to boost the development of pneumatic control valves market. Parker will definitely strengthen the technology innovation and cooperation in China."

The manufacturers in this sector will never stop grabbing the opportunities here, as the next 20 years is a golden period for the development of China's hydraulics pneumatics industry. The great market demand generated from the transformation of equipment manufacturing industry, development of emerging strategic industry and progress of human being to conquer deep space, sea and land will be the driving force of hydraulics pneumatics technology growth.

On the site, the world well-known SIEMENS, SEW, NORD, Bosch Rexroth, Eaton and Bonfiglioli all showcased the innovations with high profile appearance.

Fully sold out CeMAT ASIA accommodated 450 exhibitors to demonstrate the modern logistics products and services on a field spanning 28,000 sqm. As the highlight of every year's show, the forklifts sector is still as good as usual. KION BAOLI, Crown, STILL and Combilift made their way to CeMAT with large exhibition booths, following by Chinese famous companies such as Yougao, Ruyi, Maximal and Shantui group.

The new comer Shantui group put more emphasis on the event this year with its new forklift models on the spot. Meanwhile, the world industrial giant Crown brought more than 10 forklift models for different applications to the show, and at the same time unveiled its 'RMD 6000s series lift truck' as a China debut, which claimed to be the first narrow aisle reach truck with a MonoLift mast in this industry. "Since tapping the Chinese market, Crown has witness 50% average growth rate per year of the sales volume," explained by Simon Tang, managing director of Crown Shanghai. This American company with over 50-year history is dedicated to improving and developing its products and services to better serve a number of key markets in China.

What's more, exhibitors from the sector of logistics system integrating and solution, crane, packing and transportation equipment, AUTO-ID and AGV all sparkled the site with latest products and technologies.

These two shows were not only supported by those companies, but also joined by the national pavilions from Germany, Italy, Korea and Taiwan China, who were quite satisfied with the exhibiting result and going to expand their groups and booths next year.

During four-day event, overseas delegations and buyers from Germany, Turkey, Korea, India, Thailand and other east Asian countries came to the show to purchase and investigate. Positive thumb-up overwhelmed the show. "PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA create an ideal platform for buyers and users to talk business at one time and seek their suppliers. I visited the Italian booths and was very interested in their innovative products such as a 'working desk' made in Italy," told Liu Zaizheng, senior engineer of China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co Ltd, "I'm very pleased with the show organizing and clearly see the market trends at these two shows."

The 34 high-caliber seminars and conferences were concurrently held, enriching the exhibition trips of visitors. Providing manufacturers of high-quality fluid power/intralogistics products with the opportunity to benefit from growing domestic demand on the Chinese marketplace and offering more chance to consolidate their market presence, PTC ASIA - the Asian top 1 and world's second largest show of its kind and CeMAT ASIA - the most influence intralogistics show in the Asian pacific region, are stepping forward to a new chapter to further consolidate their position in the globe.

Organized by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the next edition will be on October 29 to November 1, 2012 in Shanghai
