Heli's "friendly reminder"
Hefei, ChinaAnhui Forklift Group Co Ltd has released a public statement saying that Heli and its logo are its registered trademarks and that it has had the sole legal right to use them in China since 1993.
The company is concerned that some Chinese manufacturers are using similar sounding names in their branding or company names, and wants to remind its customers that names like "Hecha" or "Ancha" have no association with the leading forklift manufacturer.
It has registered 43 trademarks for Heli in China and 76 internationally.
Terex contributes to guide
Zweibruecken, GermanyTerex Cranes has collaborated with the Committee for European Construction Equipment and the European materials handling industry to contribute to the first guide for the identification of non-compliant tower cranes.
Published in June, the guide serves as a reference for crane buyers, users and regulatory authorities.
The import, sale and use of non-compliant construction machinery in the European Union is a significant issue for the industry and its customers. It is a source of unfair competition, compromises safety and undermines investments in the R&D of bona fide manufacturers.
