Buffalo Lift Trucks Inc began representation of Clark Material Handling Co forklifts in eight counties in the Buffalo market of western New York State.

The dealership will continue its sales, service and parts functions for the Linde and Blue Giant forklift brands and Presto Lift products, but, effective 1 January, will end its relationship with the Mitsubishi forklift line, says David Frank, Buffalo Lift Trucks dealer principal. The dealership also markets Cascade attachments, Douglas batteries, Bluff dock equipment and Morse drum-handling equipment.

"Buffalo Lift Trucks, a lift truck performer since its founding in 1985, is a great addition to the Clark family of authorised dealers," says Scott Johnson, vice president of business development for Clark in Lexington, Kentucky. "David Frank and his management team ... bring a great deal of hands-on practical experience to Clark and the Buffalo market."

Buffalo Lift Trucks employs 20 staff and occupies 15,800 sqft. (1,468 sqm) in Depew, east of Buffalo.

Clark has 173 dealership locations in the United States, 32 in Canada and 11 in Mexico.
