Siam Motors Industries has signed a THB60 million (USD1.9 million) construction contract for Patchara Architecture to assemble its new Nissan Forklift Centre in Rayong Province, Thailand.

According to The Nation's report, a warehouse and distribution centre are also planned ahead of the Laem Chabang deep sea port's expansion.

Siam Motors Co Ltd of Bangkok was founded in 1952 to trade new and used vehicles. It was appointed the first overseas distributor of Nissan vehicles. Siam Motors Industries Co Ltd was established in 1994 to sell and service Nissan forklifts. In 1998, the group started PPN Rental and Service Co Ltd to offer forklift rental services and sell reconditioned forklifts to companies in Thailand.
