Dutch manufacturer MSE-Forks has rebranded as Meijer Handling Solutions.
According to a company statement, the new name represents "much more of what we do".
"Craftsmanship, common sense, efficiency and reliability have been Meijer's core values for years. Taking pride in what we have achieved so far is also among it, but our ambitions go further," the statement continues.
Along with the new name, the company launched a new pallet delivery system, the DStacker.
The DStacker-EU40 Pallet Dispenser is described as a mechanical pallet delivery system that can operate without electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic power. The pallet truck forks enter under the bottom pallet to extract one pallet at a time from the magazine. When the forks enter completely, all pallets are lifted by the pallet truck itself. When the truck forks are lowered, just the bottom pallet comes down for easy removal. All other pallets stay in position.
Once the pallet truck and pallet exit the system, a safety sensor powered by a 12 V battery activates, allowing all other pallets in the magazine to safely lower back to floor level.
In addition to the DStacker, Meijer Handling Solutions manufactures Rollerforks and Pushpull pallet-less handling attachments, Kooi-Reachforks hydraulic extendable forks and the Flex-Ops safety system.
