The changes take effect after an ordinary general meeting of shareholders and the board of directors on 16 June.Tetsuo Agata, senior manager of Toyota Motor Corporation, is now a representative director and executive vice president. Tadashi Ishikawa retires as a representative director and chairman and is a candidate for the position of senior adviser. Akira Imura, a representative director and vice chairman, replaces Ishikawa as chairman.Chiaki Yamaguchi, standing corporate auditor for Toyota Motor Ciro, and Masaharu Suzuki, managing officer of TICO, are now senior managing directors. Fujio Cho, chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation, replaces Tatsuro Toyoda who is retiring as outside director. Norio Satoh, president of Aichi Corp and a representative director, is now director.Other directors Kazue Sasaki and Hirotaka Morishita are now senior managing directors.Hirooki Fujiwara, general manager of sales and marketing for Toyota Material Handling, is now managing officer.
